Purpose Of Your Work

As the Customer Marketing Manager
, you'll champion our customers' success while driving business impact – creating marketing programs that deepen engagement, unlock expansion revenue, and turn happy customers into our most powerful growth engine.

You’ll build and run customer marketing initiatives that deepen relationships: customer engagement programs, advocacy and reference initiatives, lifecycle campaigns, expansion and upsell enablement, and customer education moments that increase product adoption and lifetime value. This role is equal parts strategy and orchestration – connecting the "why" (customer outcomes and business goals) to the "how" (plans, execution, measurement), and ensuring every program is aligned, well‑supported, and measurable.

In short, you'll help Redwood build lasting customer relationships – bringing teams together to deliver experiences that drive retention, maximize customer value, and transform satisfied customers into vocal advocates.

How You Make a Difference Everyday
  • Own a comprehensive customer marketing strategy and plan across the lifecycle, with primary accountability for expansion pipeline generation and revenue growth from existing customers.
  • Define goals, success metrics, and reporting for customer programs with direct accountability for expansion pipeline targets, influenced revenue, and stage progression.
  • Design and execute targeted campaigns to drive product adoption, cross‑sell/upsell awareness, and qualified expansion meetings.
  • Lead planning and execution for customer‑facing experiences: executive councils, user forums, appreciation events, educational webinars, Q  materials, and customer newsletters.
  • Build and manage a formal customer advocacy program including case studies, testimonials, video stories, and reference customers for sales enablement and co‑marketing opportunities.
  • Cultivate customer relationships for speaking engagements, peer references, and joint marketing activations.
  • Partner with Rev Ops to ensure clean lead capture, customer segmentation, opportunity attribution, and systematic follow‑up on expansion opportunities.
  • Serve as the quarterback for customer initiatives – owning timelines, stakeholders, and follow‑through to ensure programs launch smoothly and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Track program spend, manage budgets, and communicate pacing/variance proactively to leadership.
You’ve Got This?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Marketing, Customer Success Marketing, or Lifecycle Marketing within B2B environments.
  • Experience with in the Logistics, Supply Chain, or SaaS industries preferred.
  • Deep understanding of customer lifecycle stages and how marketing drives retention, adoption, and expansion.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills for customer storytelling, executive communications, and cross‑functional enablement.
  • Proven ability to cultivate authentic relationships with customers and turn them into brand advocates.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (for customer tracking and segmentation) and Hub Spot/Marketo (for lifecycle campaign execution).
