Fashion Marketing & Social Media Intern Overview

Fashion Bar Chicago is seeking analytical, creative, and driven interns to join our Fashion Strategy and Consulting team. This role supports day-to-day marketing initiatives and ongoing projects in a goal-oriented, passionate, and fast-paced fashion environment.

Interns will work closely with Fashion Bar’s marketing and consulting teams to help execute brand positioning, digital content, and visual storytelling aligned with the Fashion Bar aesthetic and client needs.

This is an accredited internship offering hands-on experience in fashion marketing, digital strategy, and content development.

• Assisting with day-to-day marketing tasks related to the website and social media platforms
• Supporting digital and social media campaign production, including content creation and community engagement
• Helping organize and maintain digital assets, site content, and sales collateral
• Conducting trend research and competitive analysis to support marketing strategies
• Researching topics and sourcing information efficiently to contribute to campaigns
• Assisting with general organization and administrative marketing support
• Performing additional tasks as assigned to support the marketing team

• Strong interest in digital marketing, social media, and content creation
• Familiarity with social media platforms, blogging tools, and digital content trends
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
• Creative thinker with attention to detail
• Interest in fashion and/or beauty is a plus

Duration:
One semester or academic quarter

Approximately 20 hours per week

Flexible scheduling to accommodate academic and work commitments

This is an unpaid internship
, but the experience provides meaningful professional value. Interns gain hands-on exposure to fashion marketing, digital strategy, and brand development within a real-world fashion business environment.
