Fashion Bar Chicago is seeking a Fashion Marketing & Sales Intern to join our Fashion Strategy and Consulting team. This role supports day-to-day marketing and sales initiatives for ongoing projects in a goal-oriented, passionate, and fast-paced fashion environment.
Interns will work closely with Fashion Bar’s marketing and sales consulting teams to support brand positioning, target marketing, lead generation, and sales growth.
This is an accredited internship offering hands‑on experience in fashion marketing, digital strategy, sales, and content development.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Fashion Marketing & Sales Intern, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Cultivating and managing client relationships to support loyalty, satisfaction, and business growth
- Identifying potential new clients through networking, market research, and outreach
- Supporting sales and marketing presentations, product demonstrations, proposals, and pitch decks
- Assisting with the sales cycle, from initial contact to contract signing
- Developing customized sales and marketing strategies with the team based on client goals
- Researching industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities
- Tracking sales performance, preparing reports, and providing account updates to management
- Supporting business growth through lead research, CRM updates, and partner outreach
- Helping prepare case studies and business development materials for prospective clients
- Strong interest in marketing and sales within a fashion environment
- Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Sales, Business, Communications, or related degree program
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
- Creative thinker with attention to detail
- Self‑starter who brings fresh ideas and thrives in collaborative environments
- Interest in fashion, beauty, and mission‑driven work is a plus
- Hands‑on experience in sales prospecting, marketing campaigns, and brand strategy

- Portfolio‑ready work, including digital campaigns and business development materials

- Duration:
One semester or academic quarter - Approximately 10 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate academic and work commitments
This is an unpaid internship
