Job Summary
We are hiring a Senior eCommerce Marketing Consultant who will lead the coordination and execution of global integrated marketing initiatives across Caterpillar’s digital platforms, including and Cat Central. This role blends strategic thinking with strong project management, ensuring marketing programs are effectively scoped, prioritized, and delivered in alignment with eCommerce goals. The consultant will serve as a central point of coordination across internal teams, business partners, and external agencies—driving alignment, managing timelines and deliverables, and ensuring seamless execution of campaigns and onsite marketing initiatives.
In parallel, this role will partner closely with the Senior Marketing Communications Consultant to shape and communicate content and channel strategies, leveraging shared insights, testing frameworks, and performance learnings to enhance customer engagement and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Own the intake, development, governance, and lifecycle management of onsite marketing content, ensuring timely updates and sunset of outdated content
- Manage onsite marketing content on and Cat Central, including banners, campaign landing pages, and content for Caterpillar-activated campaigns in collaboration with other teams
- Partner with content strategist, business partners, and SEO team on the development and optimization of onsite content
- Consult with business partners and dealers on onsite best practices and strategies to reach specific KPIs and business objectives
- Drive dealer marketing capabilities through scalable playbooks and onboarding materials
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with business goals and improve digital marketing performance
- Analyze marketing data to track KPIs, report on campaign performance, and adjust strategies to optimize results
- Serve as a subject matter expert for content management systems and tools, establishing best practices and enabling consistent, scalable adoption across business units, partners, and teams
- Customer Focus:
Expertise in understanding customer needs and using insights to enhance eCommerce marketing strategies, particularly in email journeys and lead generation for dealers - Project Management:
Expertise in leading end-to-end project execution, including intake, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination; ability to establish scalable processes and ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives aligned to strategic business objectives - Global Perspective:
Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations - Strategic Thinking:
Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization - Digital Marketing:
In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, including onsite marketing, paid media, and content creation strategies to enhance eCommerce engagement and conversion - Vendor/Supplier Management:
Experience managing external vendors and partners to ensure the successful execution of digital marketing campaigns and the implementation of marketing technologies
- Experience in digital marketing or related field
- Experience working within a large, matrixed organization
- Proven ability to drive marketing strategies and optimize eCommerce platforms
- Background in managing content creation and onsite marketing initiatives that engage customers and drive business growth
- Multi-channel marketing experience across paid, owned, and earned channels
- Ability to analyze and report on marketing data to inform decision-making and optimize performance
- Exposure to multi-country or multi-market marketing plans
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field

Position is available in a Cat Digital hub location (Dallas, Chicago, Denver, Peoria). Relocation is available for this position. Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
