About The Role
The Manager, Video & Programmatic Media (VPM) is a strategic leader responsible for driving enterprise‑level growth across Video, Audio, and Display channels—including Linear TV, CTV, OLV, You Tube, Streaming Audio, and Programmatic Display. The role partners closely with clients and cross‑functional teams to build integrated, full‑funnel media strategies grounded in Ovative’s Enterprise Marketing Return (EMR) framework.
- Lead end‑to‑end strategy, execution, and optimization across Linear TV, CTV, OLV, You Tube, Streaming Audio, Podcasts, Display, and Native.
- Define business objectives, channel KPIs, audience strategies, and testing roadmaps aligned to enterprise impact.
- Own tactical execution—including segmentation strategy, DSP bidding approaches (algorithmic and manual), creative coordination, trafficking oversight, and inventory management.
- Drive ongoing optimization informed by performance insights, incrementality thinking, and evolving client business needs.
- Translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations and forward‑looking strategic pivots.
- Manage complex budgets and flowcharts across channels, ensuring accuracy, pacing discipline, and financial accountability.
- Maintain strong relationships with platform and media partners to unlock innovation and performance opportunities.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert across video & programmatic channels, contributing PVOs that elevate client strategy and Ovative best practices.
- Partner with paid search, paid social, SEO, analytics, and creative teams to develop integrated, full‑funnel media strategies.
- Identify cross‑channel synergies and incremental growth opportunities within the broader media mix.
- Collaborate with Measurement teams to align channel optimization with EMR and holistic business outcomes.
- Proactively evaluate emerging platforms, technologies, and data solutions to advance Ovative’s VPM capabilities.
- Own day‑to‑day client leadership across Video, Audio, and Programmatic channels.
- Clearly communicate strategy, performance insights, and optimization recommendations.
- Lead recurring meetings, planning sessions, and performance reviews.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and establish credibility through strategic rigor and executional excellence.
- Influence clients to evolve media planning and measurement approaches to drive enterprise impact.
- Train and manage Ovative team members.
- Foster a culture of open communication and 360‑degree feedback.
- Inspire your team and direct reports to reach quarterly, annual, and long‑term goals.
- Design, implement, and continually improve operating rhythms, workflows, and processes that enable a high‑performing and organized team.
- 5+ years of experience in Video, Audio, or Programmatic media.
- Hands‑on campaign management across digital video (You Tube, CTV, OLV, Display).
- 1+ year of people‑management experience.
- Excellent communication and extensive client‑management experience.
- Sound conceptual and analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Experience leading programs for large‑scale brands, including omnichannel retail or eCommerce businesses.
- Experience across traditional (Linear TV/Radio) and digital video/audio.
- Experience with tools such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Google Ads, Nielsen, SQAD, Kantar, Strata, You Gov.
For Manager positions, compensation ranges from $90 000 to $132 000, inclusive of a 20% bonus. Salary reflects relevant experience and anticipated impact.
