The role is an entry-level position for someone curious, eager to learn and solve problems, and passionate about the digital industry, media trends, and search behavior. The Coordinator will assist Specialists and Supervisors in executing and managing paid search campaigns, conducting research to understand client business models, products, services, verticals, and competition.
Qualifications- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree. - Minimum 1‑3 years of experience; prior search marketing or related digital field preferred.
- Proficiency in Google Docs and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, multitasking ability in a fast‑paced environment, and close attention to detail.
- Bonuses (preferred):
Prior experience managing campaigns within Google Ads or Bing Ads;
Google AdWords certification.
- Assist Specialists and Supervisors to execute and manage paid search campaigns, including budget management, task management, ad copywriting, data analysis, findings extraction, and billing.
- Conduct research and understand client business models, products/services, verticals, and competition.
- Proactively participate in internal meetings, help solve problems, and stay updated on industry trends.
- Work closely with Specialists and Supervisors to maintain project plans.
- Present industry news and research in internal department meetings.
- Show eagerness to learn more about paid search, platform usage, and the digital industry as a whole.
- Collaborate with vendors on discovering new beta tests and learning about vendor offerings.
- Maintain a positive, enthusiastic, can‑do attitude in a collaborative team environment.
The Search Specialist plays a vital role in executing the paid search channel, developing effective strategy and techniques for accounts, implementing paid search discipline, and presenting recommendations and strategy to clients. The role reports to the Search Supervisor and requires strong understanding of paid search, performance marketing, and SEO to drive day‑to‑day tactical execution and exceed client expectations.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive day‑to‑day tactical execution of campaigns based on client expectations.
- Utilize paid search accounts to enhance SEM campaigns and create advanced SEM/SEO strategies based on website analytics and campaign data.
- Evaluate product offerings, traffic, landing page quality, content, design, security, payment, shipping options, and demographics to determine keywords and campaigns.
- Develop campaign strategy (with supervision) to guide initiatives that accomplish client campaign goals.
- Create campaign reports and present them to clients on a regular basis.
- Review and analyze client sites for areas needing improvement, removal, or revision.
- Review and analyze client paid search campaigns for improvements in key performance indicators such as cost per click.
- Prepare detailed strategy reports.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 1‑3 years of experience in Display Media, SEO, Affiliates, Feeds, Mobile, Social, and Attribution.
- Strong analytical and research skills with ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; proven ability to interpret and use Google certifications (Fundamentals, Analytics, AdWords).
- Experience with paid search platforms such as Marin, DS3, and other industry platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer service orientation, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize duties, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
