Ecommerce Merchandising Manager
Decorative Finishes @ Renovation Brands – E‑Commerce Merchandising Manager responsible for owning the online brand experience across five home renovation brands, with dedicated focus on American Tin Ceilings and Reggio Registers and overall eStore health for the full portfolio.
General Information- Location: 100% Remote. Must work from a U.S. location.
- Reports to: Senior Director, Merchandising & Growth Strategy
- Base Salary: $80,000 - $90,000
- Employment Type: Full‑time, Exempt
- Own eCommerce brand strategy, including brand positioning, category definition, and competitive whitespace analysis.
- Lead Shopify strategy and optimization: pricing architecture, margin tracking, promotional framework, and site performance.
- Drive site UX/UI improvements, identify friction points in the customer journey, partner with design and development to execute enhancements and A/B test requirements.
- Develop and maintain competitive intelligence, monitoring category trends and identifying opportunities to strengthen brand positioning.
- Partner with the marketing team on content and imagery needs for best‑in‑class brand experience.
- Serve as point person for site updates across all brands, ensuring listings, imagery, pricing, and content meet merchandising and brand standards.
- Monitor core vital metrics across brand storefronts, flag performance issues and drive resolution.
- Maintain product listings with accurate specifications, descriptions, and current imagery.
- Work with merchandising coordinator on catalog data management: product setup, attribute maintenance, and content QA.
- Own newness launches and site optimization initiatives in partnership with the eCommerce coordinator.
- Act as liaison between the merchandising team and SEO/content, performance marketing, operations/inventory, sales, and design teams on core projects.
- Translate business priorities into actionable site merchandising plans and communicate timelines and dependencies to partners.
- Leverage AI‑powered tools and automation to increase throughput and improve process consistency across brands.
- Track and report on key eCommerce performance metrics using PowerBI and Shopify analytics.
- Use data to inform merchandising decisions—from product sequencing to promotional timing to category page structure.
- Identify trends and surface actionable insights to the Senior Director of Merchandising on a regular cadence.
- Maintain documents and tools to keep cross‑functional resources up to date.
- 5+ years of eCommerce merchandising experience with direct ownership of brand‑owned DTC websites (Shopify strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to operate in both strategic and tactical modes.
- Experience managing multi‑brand or multi‑category eCommerce environments.
- Strong command of product catalog management—setup, attributes, pricing, imagery, and content standards.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance reporting; ability to turn metrics into decisions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a process‑oriented mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to understand product and eCommerce/digital trends and translate them into new product and UX initiatives.
- Comfort with margin contribution, sell‑through rates, promotional ROI analysis and assortment/channel profitability metrics.
- Experience with Net Suite or similar ERP systems.
- Familiarity with Klaviyo, Canva, and A/B testing tools.
- Background in home improvement, home décor, or building materials categories.
- Comfort with AI productivity tools and interest in applying automation to eCommerce workflows.
