The VP – Media Strategy is a leadership role within the Syneos Health Integrated Media Team responsible for development and implementation of omnichannel integrated pharmaceutical media campaigns. The position involves planning and communicating advanced omnichannel media strategy to clients of Syneos Health. The ideal candidate will exhibit proven success managing complex multimedia campaigns within the pharma/healthcare space and a detailed understanding of negotiation and implementation needed to extract maximum impact from any strategic approach.

This role has a prominent client-facing component with excellent presentation and explanatory skills. The VP will assist in development and ensure accuracy of execution while delivering class‑leading programs that align with our clients’ goals and objectives. The position builds trust and expertise with clients and relays complex media topics in a clear manner for those with little marketing experience.

Passion for optimization is essential. The VP will recommend improvements and solutions to existing campaigns, help craft strategy for new initiatives, and act as caretaker for media investments, ensuring maximum flexibility and performance. Flawless execution is expected. The VP will also grow the team and foster a positive, proactive culture of training, onboarding, and internal advancement.

• Experience: Minimum 12 years leading, executing, and planning strategic integrated media campaigns.
• Leadership: Manage a growing global team and shape the group’s structure and vision.
• Strategy, Planning & Presentation Development: Design complex strategic media campaigns and communicate approach to clients and internal stakeholders.
• New Business: Participate in pitches for new business and operationalize complex requests during the RFP process.
• Client Management: Build relationships and deliver flawless, reported campaigns.
• Execution / Campaign & Project Management: Manage and optimize omnichannel integrated media campaigns across all major channels, with emphasis on innovation and performance; heavy TV experience required (CTV and Linear).

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $180,000. Salary will vary based on qualifications and performance. Some positions may include eligibility for commissions or bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
