This role serves as a key marketing partner to leadership and acts as the connective tissue across Ecommerce, Brand, Merchandising, Retail, and agency partners. Responsible for turning high-level business priorities into fully developed, revenue-driving campaigns, this person will own the messaging, customer journey, and execution strategy across digital and retail touchpoints, ensuring every initiative is cohesive, compelling, and conversion-focused.
Success in this role requires a unique blend of commercial thinking, creativity, and operational excellence. While high-level business priorities and calendar moments are set by leadership, this person is expected to proactively identify opportunities, develop campaign and promotional strategies, and bring forward innovative ideas that drive customer engagement, conversion, and loyalty based on the broader company strategy. They will translate business objectives into compelling customer experiences and marketing initiatives, partnering cross-functionally to bring those ideas to life.
ResponsibilitiesCampaign Development & Ownership:
Take high-level direction (e.g., Customer Appreciation Month, product launches, promotions) and build the following:
- Campaign concepts & hooks
- offer structure
- segmentation approach (in partnership with data team)
Own all campaign messaging across the following channels, and continuously refine based on performance and customer behavior
- SMS
- landing pages
- site placements
- Email, SMS, Influencer and PR
- Provide support and communicate marketing strategy to paid media partners
- Develop campaign briefs, messaging frameworks, and strategic direction for agency execution
- Partner with agencies to identify opportunities for improved campaign performance, segmentation, and customer engagement.
Proactively identify opportunities to increase repeat purchase behavior, customer engagement, and lifetime value through innovative campaigns, loyalty initiatives, customer segmentation, and lifecycle marketing programs
Customer Journey & Conversion Optimization:
Own the end-to-end experience after a customer engages with marketing, and identify and fix gaps as they relate to:
- landing pages
- product assortment
- clarity of information (pricing, sizing, etc.)
Collaborate with sales to develop marketing ideas to drive traffic to retail stores, and translate brand and campaign ideas into retail-relevant activations
Cross-Functional Partnership:
Partner with various partners in order to clearly communicate campaign needs, implement improvements, and ensure alignment. Partnerships will include:
- Ecommerce for data + site execution, as well as interpreting performance insights
- Brand for creative alignment
- Merchandising for product focus
- Own timelines, deliverables, and execution across campaigns
- Oversee project partners and ensure timely deliverables
- Ensure all marketing initiatives launch on time and at a high standard
- 5–8 years in DTC, retail, or ecommerce marketing
- Ability to identify opportunities and provide relevant recommendations
- Strong in campaign development, messaging, and execution
- Experience with email/SMS and customer lifecycle marketing
- Proven ability to take direction and run with it independently
- Detail-oriented with strong instincts for customer experience
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Salary Info: $115,000 and up based on skill set and experience
