Position Summary
We are DAC—a global full‑funnel performance media agency dedicated to delivering transformative results across SEO, paid media, creative production, analytics, and local optimization. As an Account Director, you will lead key digital media accounts, fostering client relationships, overseeing strategy and execution, and guiding cross‑functional teams to drive strong business growth.
Responsibilities- Client Satisfaction and Retention
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client partners.
- Create client org charts and map departmental relationships.
- Understand client industry, strategy, and goals to identify innovation and optimization opportunities.
- Team Development
- Provide senior account direction and people leadership to a high‑performance team of Account Managers and Executives.
- Organize internal media, SEO, creative, content, social, development, and analytics teams to collaborate effectively.
- Portfolio/Program Management
- Develop and execute annual account plans that meet revenue growth and profit margin targets.
- Manage internal aspects of project implementation: client briefs, proposals, budget tracking, data QA, reporting, and documentation.
- Coordinate client approvals, status reports, project timelines, and budget documents.
- Manage contracts through to signature.
- Business Growth and Revenue
- Own client financial health: revenue delivery, growth, and profitability.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of DAC’s product offerings across media, SEO, content, local, web development, and analytics.
- Stay current on program activities and industry trends.
- Serve as an internal and external thought leader through knowledge sharing, speaking engagements, and industry events.
- Support new business initiatives, including client pitches, RFP responses, and marketing events.
- 7+ years of client services experience, managing growth and account budgets.
- 4+ years of leading an account team and portfolio with related budgets.
- 3+ years working for an advertising agency with proven multi‑channel campaign leadership.
- Strong understanding of brand and performance marketing, data‑driven decisions, and industry trends.
- Experience managing programs for Fortune 500 or similarly sized media budgets.
- Project management experience and strong writing, communication, organization, and presentation skills.
- Experience presenting and selling to high‑level decision‑makers at enterprise brands with national scope.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience managing internal project operations, scope writing, hours forecasting, and budget oversight.
- Skill in building and maintaining long‑term client relationships and growing program revenue.
- Experience leading and developing internal talent.
Competitive salary range: $130,000 to $150,000.
