This is a highly influential role requiring strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to partner credibly with senior leaders across a complex, global organisation. • Develop and lead an enterprise-wide internal communications strategy aligned to business priorities, employee experience goals, and transformation agendas.
  • Establish governance and coordination across HR, business units, and functional teams to ensure consistent messaging, prioritisation, and alignment across all employee communications.
  • Design and maintain integrated communication calendars, channel frameworks, and toolkits to ensure consistency, reduce duplication, and optimise impact.
  • Own the enterprise internal channel ecosystem (e.g., Our Glanbia, Viva Engage, town halls, video, digital signage), ensuring accessibility and effectiveness across global employee populations.
  • Enable scalable storytelling through consistent frameworks, templates, and approaches that elevate quality and impact globally.
  • Lead communications strategy for major enterprise initiatives including culture, transformation, change adoption, DE&I, performance cycles, and engagement programmes.
  • Measure and evaluate communications effectiveness using engagement analytics, sentiment insights, and channel performance data; continuously refine strategy based on insight.
  • Develop dashboards linking communications activity to engagement, adoption, and business outcomes where possible.
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance content creation, audience segmentation, insight generation, and measurement capability.
What You Bring
  • Significant experience in internal communications, employee engagement, and/or organisational change communications, with proven ability to engage and influence senior leadership teams.
  • Experience operating in large, complex, global organisations with a track record of delivering measurable impact.
  • Strong expertise in internal communications channels and platforms (e.g., intranet, Teams/Viva Engage, newsletters, video, town halls, digital platforms).
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience in a communications agency environment is highly desirable.
  • Degree in Communications, Business, Organisational Psychology/Development or related field is an advantage.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on execution capability and a passion for employee experience.
