The Growth Marketing Lead for industry marketing will provide hands on marketing activation to generate demand for Aon solutions targeted at a pre-assigned set of industries in North America. This role will plan and deliver aligned marketing campaign tactic activations based on specific industry growth priorities in the region. This role reports into the Industry Marketing Leader – North America and partners with the related buyer, solution line and commercial leaders to help execute a strategic marketing and communications plan that drives growth for Aon in North America.
Whatthe day will look like
- Partners with Campaign Planning and Analytics team on designing demand programs that generate marketing qualified leads for the business
- Working closely with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications Centers of Excellence, manages event strategy, campaign design and delivery, and sales material development and support
- Key liaison between industry leadership and the Global Marketing and Communications function regarding business marketing needs and reporting
- Liaison with Marketing Campaign Planning and Analytics team regarding analysis and overall metrics and reporting on programs
- Act as an Aon brand ambassador who is closely aligned with the “Aon Story”, encompassing brand strategy, messaging, and storytelling
This person will work closely with their counterparts on the North America Growth Marketing team, the Global Insights (Solution Line) Marketing team and with colleagues across our Marketing & Communications Centers of Excellence:
Campaign Planning & Analytics, Communications & Content, Events & Partnerships, Brand Strategy, Digital Marketing and Marketing Operations to deliver a globally aligned and consistent Aon United program that drives Aon’s overall market position and client experience.
- 7+ years of professional B2B and marketing communications experience
- Demonstrated skills in messaging and positioning offerings
- 2+ years of team management experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to execute programs with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
- Understanding of business analytics, measurement, and dashboards.
- Excellent cross-group collaboration skills and ability to impact outcomes in a matrixed environment.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high‑energy, fast‑paced environment with the keen ability to manage many multi‑faced projects at once.

Pay Transparency LawsThe salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $105,000 - $125,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, Illinois.
The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
