Envisionit, an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Chicago, is on the lookout for a talented and hands‑on Associate Media Director to join our growing team. We are headquartered in Chicago and have a beautiful office overlooking Millennium Park and Lake Michigan, operating under a hybrid work model (in‑office Mondays/Wednesdays).

The Associate Media Director role will take full ownership of our Paid Search and Paid Social channels. This is an individual contributor role designed for a senior‑level practitioner who loves getting under the hood of campaigns while simultaneously leading high‑level strategy and client relationships.

The ideal candidate is an expert in the search and social landscapes, possesses a sharp eye for financial stewardship, and thrives on executing flawless campaigns from setup to optimization. Experience navigating the nuances of mobile app marketing (acquisition, tracking, and retention) is a massive plus. As an Associate Media Director, you will bridge the gap between high‑level client vision and day‑to‑day execution, ensuring our campaigns push boundaries while maintaining operational excellence.

Key

Functions
  • Own end‑to‑end management of paid search and paid social channels (primarily Google, Apple Search Ads, Bing, Snapchat, Reddit, and Twitter)
  • Lead daily pacing, budget allocation, and in‑flight optimizations
  • Execute & iterate on audience strategies & segmentation, creative testing, and campaign structure and scaling approaches
  • Identify performance trends and proactively adjust strategy to maximize ROAS
  • Develop and lead structured test & learn roadmaps
  • Formulate and execute cutting‑edge channel and optimization strategies tailored directly to the client business goals.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align performance insights with broader business goals
  • Develop full‑funnel strategies across paid search, paid social, retail media, and emerging channels
  • Identify and evaluate new media opportunities with AI‑driven platforms, Beta opportunities, and new ad formats.
  • Collaborate with analytics, strategy, and client teams to ensure alignment.
  • Ensure reports move beyond vanity metrics, translating complex platform data into a cohesive, strategic narrative that proves ROI and outlines clear next steps.
What we’re looking for
  • 6+ years in digital media management (agency experience preferred) with a proven track record of managing and scaling complex accounts independently
  • Advanced hands‑on mastery of Paid Search (Google Ads, Bing, Apple Search Ads) and Paid Social (Snapchat, Reddit, X)
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience translating data into insights
  • Experience building and presenting client‑facing reports and decks
  • Proven ability to manage multiple work streams and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of: test & learn methodologies, creative performance drivers, full‑funnel media strategy
  • Hands‑on experience running app install and engagement campaigns is a huge plus
Perks, Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $110, USD. This is a good‑faith estimate of the base pay scale for this position and any potential offers will ultimately be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and performance in the interview process.
