Your Role

The Marketing and Business Development Coordinator provides project, data, content, event, and administrative support to the firm’s Marketing and Business Development team. This role supports client-facing initiatives, maintains accurate marketing and business development information, coordinates surveys and rankings submissions, assists with website updates, and has primary responsibility for social media posts and calendar. The coordinator also helps ensure department projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with firm standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, collaborative, social, and comfortable working with attorneys and staff across all levels of the firm.

Your Impact
  • Social Media & Communications: Update and monitor the firm’s social media accounts and support internal and external marketing communications.
  • Research & Business Development Support: Lead or assist with research projects for practice groups, individual attorneys, proposals, pitches, and other business development efforts as needed.
  • Surveys & Rankings: Coordinate surveys and rankings submissions in collaboration with the team, including gathering relevant experience and data directly from partners and other stakeholders.
  • Website & Content Management: Assist with updates to the firm’s website, including attorney biographies, client alerts, blog posts, practice content, and other web postings.
  • CRM & Relationship Management: Collaborate with the Marketing and Business Development team to maintain and use the firm’s CRM tools for client relationship management, business development activity tracking, and data accuracy; assist with user requests and employee training as needed.
  • Experience Database: Search, update, and use content in the firm’s experience database as needed to support pitches, submissions, and other business development initiatives.
  • Events & Conferences: Assist with coordination and execution of attorney involvement in events, conferences, sponsorship commitments, practice group events, and Continuing Legal Education accreditation matters.
  • Project & Design Support: Assist with graphic design needs for web postings and other marketing materials, and provide administrative support to the department as assigned.
Your Skills

Required:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a law firm or other professional services environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Information Systems/Technology, or a related field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the firm.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
