Position Title:Social Media & Communications Student Worker
Department:Director of Student Experience / Admissions
Position Type:Part-Time Student Worker (10 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: $16.60
OverviewWe are seeking a creative, reliable, and outgoing student to join our team as a Social Media & Communications Student Worker. This role combines digital storytelling with in-person engagement to share the authentic student experience, support campus events, and help prospective students feel connected to our vibrant college community.
Key Responsibilities Social Media & Digital Content- Highlight student life, academics, campus events, and community engagement.
- Assist with planning and scheduling posts using a content calendar.
- Monitor social channels for trends, mentions, and engagement opportunities.
- Support live coverage for campus events, tours, or special programs.
- Stay informed on current social media trends and suggest innovative ways to enhance the college’s online presence.
- Help create email campaigns, Teams announcements, social media posts, and flyers to increase awareness of student services, activities, and opportunities.
- Current full-time student in good academic standing.
- Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable on camera and confident speaking to groups.
- Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and Linked In (experience preferred).
- Skills in photography, video editing, or graphic design are a plus.
