The Public Affairs Associate will guide earned media and public affairs campaigns, supporting coalition-building and developing strategies that inspire stakeholders, media, and decision-makers. The hybrid role is located in Chicago'sNorthwest Suburbs and requires two days in-office and occasional travel/on-site client responsibilities.

You will guide media and messaging campaigns for household brands while also shaping consequential policy conversations on exciting issues. The role offers direct client exposure, meaningful responsibility, and a pathway for growth as the company expands.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experienced in public affairs, communications, and media
• relations in Illinois (min. 2-4 years)
• Strong writer, strategic thinker
• Highly organized, able to manage fast-paced work
Comfortable in a client-facing role
• Excited by work in policy and media

Technical Skills & Tools

• Media monitoring and research tools
• Microsoft Office and presentation development
• Drafting press materials and client-ready documents
• Tracking news, stakeholders, and issue developments
