We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Graphic Design Intern (Hybrid) on our Scientific Publication team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.
The intern will gain hands‑on experience in brand marketing working as part of a team creating print and digital marketing assets, supporting sales and brand campaigns, and collaborating with a creative team on work that reaches diverse audiences. The intern will gain real‑world examples to include in their design portfolios.
Responsibilities- Create graphics and marketing materials that support JAMA Network campaigns, communications, and brand initiatives
- Gain experience across a wide range of deliverables, including creating and updating brochures, templates, conference support materials, digital house banner ads, presentations, and social media assets
- Apply JAMA Network brand guidelines to produce polished, consistent visual work
- Collaborate with marketing and communications professionals and contribute to real‑world projects from concept through production
- Support production design needs, including preparing InDesign files for print and managing multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
May include other responsibilities as assigned.
RequirementsThis role is a non‑exempt position and the hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
