This role will assist with attorney-facing marketing efforts, industry recognition programs, and the development of materials that showcase the firm's accomplishments and capabilities. The ideal candidate is a strong writer who can manage multiple projects, collaborate with attorneys and internal teams, and maintain a high level of accuracy while working in a deadline-driven professional environment.
This opportunity offers a competitive salary of $70,000–$88,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of attorney biographies, practice descriptions, directory profiles, marketing collateral, and other firm materials to ensure information accurately reflects current experience and accomplishments.
- Partner with attorneys, practice groups, and marketing colleagues to gather information, organize key details, and develop polished content highlighting the firm's capabilities, experience, and achievements.
- Maintain project timelines, tracking systems, calendars, and internal resources related to legal rankings, awards, surveys, and other recognition initiatives.
- Research and evaluate industry recognition opportunities, surveys, and award programs that align with the firm's practices and overall marketing objectives.
- Draft, edit, and proofread written materials, including recognition submissions, matter descriptions, firm summaries, and other communications requiring strong attention to detail and a polished writing style.
- Review submission requirements, coordinate necessary information, and support the completion of recognition materials while ensuring deadlines and internal processes are followed.
- Support the Marketing & Business Development team with department initiatives, reporting, process improvements, and additional communications projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or a related field required.
- Law firm experience required, with 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, business development, public relations, or a related professional services environment; experience supporting legal rankings, directories, awards, or survey submissions strongly preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to create clear, compelling content from detailed legal and business information.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track deadlines, and maintain accuracy across various projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to work comfortably with spreadsheets, databases, and project tracking tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, marketing professionals, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information, work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and contribute positively within a fast-paced team environment.
