Associate Director, Search Performance Marketer

Dysrupt is looking for an Associate Director, Search Performance Marketer who's ready to take the next leap in their performance marketing career. You'll bring strategic rigor to a portfolio of clients, shape paid media campaigns from brief to execution, and act as a trusted advisor across platforms. You're excited by innovation, energized by solving business problems with media, and equally skilled at hands-on campaign management and big-picture thinking.

If this sounds like you, how would you answer these questions:

  • Do you geek out over match types, quality scores, and the ideal bidding strategy?
  • Do you want to become an expert in the space and have a constant desire to learn more?
  • Do you get excited about new dysruptive strategies and ideas that challenge the status quo?
  • Do you have passions outside of work that you can bring to our ever evolving culture and team?

If you answered "Yes" to these questions, we would love to have a conversation!

As an Associate Director, you'll oversee a cross-vertical book of business (3–4 clients), develop integrated paid media strategies across platforms, and guide both internal teams and client stakeholders with clarity and confidence. This is a client-facing role with a strong emphasis on performance marketing, but with increasing ownership of team leadership, process innovation, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities
  • Own Campaign Execution:
Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads (Search, You Tube, Shopping, Performance Max) with a focus on flawless execution.
  • Lead Platform Strategy:
Develop paid media plans and tactical approaches rooted in client goals, industry benchmarks, and historical insights.
  • Drive Operational Excellence:
Champion internal processes, campaign QA, pacing checks, and reporting frameworks to ensure seamless delivery across all clients.
  • Deliver Performance Insights:
Analyze campaign data, uncover trends, and package insights into compelling stories that drive client trust and decision-making.
  • Collaborate Cross-functionally:
Partner closely with Client Leads, Creative, and Analytics to ensure your strategies ladder up to broader campaign goals.
  • Support Innovation & Testing:
Own test design and execution within your book of business, helping move both client performance and agency capabilities forward.
  • Contribute to Culture:
Share knowledge, platform updates, and POVs across the team to keep Dysrupt's media offering sharp, fast, and future-focused.
Qualifications
  • 5-6 years of experience running performance marketing campaigns in Google Ads, along with experience in any of the following platforms:
You Tube, Microsoft Ads (Bing), Tik Tok, Meta, or Amazon.
  • Expert-level knowledge of paid media campaign structures, pacing, optimization levers, and KPI alignment.
  • Deep comfort with large datasets, ad tech tools, and reporting platforms like Google Data Studio (Looker Studio).
  • Clear and confident communicator—able to explain strategies and insights to clients and internal partners alike.
  • Proven track record of running complex campaigns independently with speed, accuracy, and performance results.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset; you identify issues early and take initiative to solve them.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple accounts and priorities.
