Director, Strategic Restaurant Marketing

• Partner with the Senior Vice President of Sales and Divisional Vice Presidents to manage significant restaurant prospects and customers
• Participate in sales meetings for marketing services and capital products with sophisticated, national restaurant enterprises
• Answer prospect questions, overcome objections, and understand prospect needs and concerns
• Communicate multi-channel marketing campaigns and offer strategies from concept through execution and analysis
• Create compelling stories and presentations communicating Rewards Network's value proposition
• Partner with Creative Marketing to ensure visuals communicate the appropriate message
• Partner with Finance and Data Science analysts to support messages with accurate data, analysis, and insights
• Direct the restaurant marketing team in crafting personalized sales pitches and differentiated customer value propositions
• Interact with customers to source feedback and understand business, solution, and product needs
• Develop understanding of the competitive environment and competitors' product language
• Own delivery of regular Business Reviews for customer retention
• Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations Leadership to acquire and retain restaurant customers

• Deep and extensive understanding of the restaurant industry, specifically the business of restaurants
• Exceptional ability to understand customer needs, position products effectively, manage objections, and design marketing solutions
• Ability to clarify complex business situations, apply frameworks, simplify messages, and define appropriate analysis
• Experience creating clear, sophisticated communication materials, presentations, customer-facing summaries, analysis, and insights
• Experience interacting with senior leaders and asking detailed questions to clarify complex situations
• Ability to ramp quickly into ambiguous, in-flight programs and operate independently within days or weeks
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or similar role (preferred)
• At least 3 years working directly supporting or within the restaurant industry (preferred)

Demonstrates a deep understanding of the restaurant industry and excels in creating sophisticated marketing solutions that effectively address customer needs. Proven ability to collaborate across departments and deliver compelling presentations that communicate value propositions.
