The Senior Project Manager, Marketing, serves as a key strategic and operational partner to the Director of Marketing and Creative Services, supporting the growing needs of the Public Relations, Communications and Marketing Division and the Office of the President for integrated marketing initiatives. This position provides senior-level project management expertise, leading the coordination, prioritization, and execution of marketing, branding, and creative initiatives for the College, and ensuring that project timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations are consistently met.
The Senior Project Manager functions as a central point of coordination for workflow and resource alignment across creative, content, and production teams, and serves as the primary liaison between Marketing and Creative Services and internal College partners. This position champions innovation, including artificial intelligence and other tools, to streamline operations and improve marketing agility, responsiveness, and measurable impact.
This position may represent the Director of Marketing and Creative Services at meetings and cross-functional initiatives, as needed, and plays an instrumental role in supporting institutional priorities and advancing the College's brand through collaborative partnerships with internal departments and creative professionals.
- Manage the marketing project portfolio, coordinating approximately 1,500 annual projects across more than 200 academic programs and all student and administrative services.
- Own project intake, evaluating scope, timelines, and resources to guide prioritization.
- Serve as the central point of contact for project status, timelines, and deliverables across web, print, digital advertising, event marketing, email, and content projects.
- Monitor project capacity and adjust plans as needed to keep deliverables on schedule and on standard.
- Lead the ongoing development of Hive, the division's project management system, including configuration, training, and adoption.
- Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies, including AI-assisted workflows, to improve efficiency and reporting.
- Maintain documentation, asset management, and archiving standards in the College's Digital Asset Management system.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for departments requesting marketing services, clarifying needs and expectations, and requesting additional information as needed.
- Build relationships with academic departments, service units, and administrative leaders to support project success.
- Lead project briefings, approvals, and status updates to keep stakeholders aligned.
- Negotiate timelines, budget, and scope with internal clients, escalating to the Director of Marketing when needed.
- Represent the Director of Marketing in meetings and initiatives as needed, and support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Drive initiatives that improve marketing agility, responsiveness, and measurable impact.
- Review materials for alignment with brand identity and communication goals.
- Advocate for revisions that protect brand integrity, working diplomatically with internal partners.
- Ensure consistency of messaging, design, and brand standards across all marketing and creative channels.
- Ensure all marketing and communications materials are delivered on time to support institutional goals.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Project Management, or related discipline required.
