Com Ed is seeking a motivated college student or graduate student to support corporate giving, civic sponsorship, employee communications, and community engagement within the Com Ed Corporate Community Impact department. Candidates must be enrolled in college or graduate school through the duration of the internship. Must possess excellent project management and communication skills, have an above average attention to detail, and be a self-starter with a positive attitude and an awareness and interest in public affairs.

Anticipated start date of November 2026 with a commitment through May 2027 required, with the potential for an extension. Must be currently enrolled in school. A one-year commitment is preferred. Competitive compensation; 15 hours per week. The position is currently located at the company headquarters in downtown Chicago. Relocation will not be provided.

• Assist in coordination of sponsorship fulfillment with external partners
• Produce bi-weekly and monthly employee e-newsletters highlighting employee engagement opportunities
• Support management of grant application process
• Coordinate with other Exelon and Com Ed departments, including marketing and communications, as needed
• Maintain and update website content
• Event support for key company signature events and volunteer events, which may include Switch on Summer, Holiday Lights, Energy Force Ambassador Program, Com Ed Scholars, Cause of the Year Initiative, National Volunteer Month and Special Olympics Chicago Polar Plunge
