Job Description:

Intern, Health & Wellness Do you have an interest in healthcare and the stories shaping how people understand health and wellness? Are you curious about how communications can help healthcare organizations connect with patients, consumers, media and other important audiences?

As a Health & Wellness Intern at Zeno, you will support integrated communications programs for healthcare clients across a variety of sectors. Working alongside experienced communications professionals, you'll contribute to research, media relations, content development and client programs while gaining hands-on experience in healthcare communications.

This internship is an opportunity to build foundational communications skills, learn about the evolving healthcare landscape and gain exposure to meaningful client work across Zeno's Health & Wellness practice.

About the Role:

Healthcare Research & Insights:
Conduct research on healthcare organizations, industry trends, competitors and emerging issues to support client programs, strategic planning and new business opportunities.

Media Relations & Storytelling:
Support earned media efforts by researching journalists, developing media lists, monitoring coverage and assisting with outreach. Help draft materials including pitches, press releases, fact sheets and briefing documents.

Content & Communications:
Contribute to communications materials and digital content that help healthcare organizations engage patients, consumers and other key audiences.

Client & Program Support:
Partner with account teams to support client deliverables, maintain project materials and help keep programs organized and moving forward.

Events & Campaign Execution:
Assist with event planning, logistics, vendor coordination and other activities that support integrated healthcare communications programs.

Professional Development &

Collaboration:

Participate in brainstorms, team meetings and learning opportunities while building skills across healthcare communications, media relations and integrated marketing.

About You:

Strong interest in healthcare, public relations, communications, marketing or related fields.

Curiosity about healthcare trends and how communications can help organizations engage and inform different audiences.

Strong writing and communication skills with an interest in storytelling and content development.

Strong research and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple assignments in a collaborative environment.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn, ask questions and contribute ideas.

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework, internships or project experience related to communications, marketing, healthcare, public health or media.

Familiarity with media monitoring, social listening or communications tools.
