Primary social channel: @chicagodermatology

The role supports Chicago Cosmetic Surgery & Dermatology, Skin Science, and The Skin Spa through one cohesive social media presence, balancing medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, aesthetic treatments, Skin Spa services, and dermatologist-curated skincare.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Must independently manage multiple content pillars within the @chicagodermatology social presence, representing Chicago Cosmetic Surgery & Dermatology, Skin Science, and The Skin Spa while maintaining a cohesive overall brand identity.
  • Proficiency with Meta Business Suite. Must be comfortable scheduling and publishing content, reviewing audience activity and performance, managing Instagram and Facebook, and using platform insights to inform content and publishing decisions.

Develop engaging digital content and campaigns for social media, and other digital channels, provide content and creative support for website and email initiatives as needed, adapting content, messaging, timing, and publishing strategy for each platform and audience.

  • Data-informed content strategy. Must be able to analyze reach, engagement, watch time, retention, shares, saves, profile activity, follower growth, audience behavior, and other relevant performance metrics and translate those findings into actionable changes to content strategy.[HW3]
  • Film, photograph, edit, and produce engaging digital content, including short-form video, across multiple platforms. Must be available for regular in-office content capture, approximately twice per week. Expected to strategically plan and batch provider content while also capturing treatments, products, clinic activity, staff, events, and timely content opportunities as they arise.
  • Able to build campaigns from concept through execution. Must be able to take a promotion, event, treatment priority, product launch, or organizational initiative and determine the campaign strategy, key messages, content sequence, formats, timeline, calls to action, and supporting assets needed to achieve the objective.
  • Understanding of social SEO and discoverability. Must understand how keywords, captions, on-screen text, profile optimization, content topics, and search behavior influence discoverability across social platforms and incorporate these principles naturally into content.
  • Regularly review and communicate social media performance, identifying what is working, what is not, and recommendations for future content, campaigns, and publishing strategy.

Working knowledge of Meta paid media, including audience targeting, campaign objectives, creative considerations, and interpreting paid versus organic performance.

  • Graphic designer skills to bring content concepts, campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives to life visually.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing plans for promotions, events, launches, and seasonal initiatives, including campaign timelines, teaser content, educational content, registration or conversion-focused content, countdowns, day-of coverage, and supporting digital assets.
  • Monitor and manage social media communities, including comments and direct messages; identify issues requiring escalation; engage appropriately; and recognize recurring questions or conversations that can inform future content.
  • Ensure all digital content is accurate, compliant, on-brand, and thoroughly proofread, with particular attention to patient privacy, medical information, provider names and credentials, treatment names, promotional terms, dates, links, and before-and-after content.
  • Update in-clinic tabletop and banner stands, troubleshoot Yodeck displays and monitors, develop monitor content, and create in-room reels with music.
  • Set up event marketing materials; film and edit procedures for the website, lectures, and social media; and participate in staff and in-house marketing events.
