Overview
HI Chicago is looking for volunteers to lead a weekly morning program for guests at our bustling Chicago hostel, which hosts travelers from around the world. The program, "Toast & Jams," enables guests to meet and interact with each other and provides information about the hostel and the city.
Must be a resident of Chicago or the Chicago area to apply.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with weekly Sunday and/or Monday morning breakfast events for 2.5 to 3 hours (event duration plus setup/cleanup). Timing is flexible but volunteers must decide a consistent time for all Sundays and/or Mondays. Example: 7:00–9:30 am every Monday, or 8:00–11:00 am every Sunday.
RequirementsYou must be 18+ to be a volunteer.
This role requires standing for long periods and moving/lifting up to 20 lbs.
Purpose/Definition and HI USA MissionHI USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit education association. Our purpose is to "inspire a deeper understanding of people, places, and cultures for a more tolerant world." As a non-profit, the revenues we receive through overnight stays and memberships are reinvested in mission delivery.
