Duties

The Supervisor, Individual Philanthropy is an execution-focused, frontline role on the Philanthropy team, responsible for cultivating and managing a portfolio of mid-level and emerging major donors (starting at $10,000+ capacity). This role plays a critical part in growing the Individual Philanthropy program—directly engaging donors, advancing relationships through thoughtful cultivation and stewardship, and supporting the development of higher-level giving strategies. Working closely with the Manager, Individual Philanthropy, this position also contributes to secondary moves management for major donors and helps drive the growth and visibility of Ronald McDonald House’s planned giving program.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented fundraiser who brings experience from a developing major gifts program and is eager to both own donor relationships and support broader portfolio strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management & Donor Stewardship
    • Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of mid-level and emerging major donors and prospects (capacity $10,000+), managing relationships to deepen engagement and increase giving.
    • Conduct direct donor outreach and relationship management, serving as a frontline representative of Ronald McDonald House.
    • Implement personalized outreach strategies including calls, emails, impact reports and stewardship touchpoints to grow donor loyalty and increase giving.
    • Partner closely with the Manager, Individual Philanthropy to support secondary moves management for major donors, ensuring timely and strategic follow‑up to advance donors toward higher‑level giving.
    • Prepare donor materials, briefings, and proposals in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Planned Giving
    • Serve as a point of contact for Ronald McDonald House’s planned giving program, stewarding inquiries and supporting donor engagement.
    • Support the growth and marketing of the planned giving program, partnering on outreach and communications.
    • Manage planned giving donor communication and tracking in collaboration with Philanthropy Operations.
  • Collaboration & Integration
    • Coordinate with the Marketing team to build a clear engagement pathway from broad‑based solicitation into mid-level and major gift relationship management.
    • Collaborate with development colleagues to coordinate donor engagement strategies.
    • Track donor interactions and moves management activity in the CRM system.
    • Design and partner with colleagues on campaigns, appeals, philanthropy resources and events to engage new supporters.
    • Prepare donor materials, briefings, prospect research, and proposals in collaboration with colleagues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in fundraising, with a focus on individual giving and major gifts.
  • Proven track record of managing donor portfolios and securing philanthropic support from individual donors.
  • Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills, with ability to engage donors across cultures and geographies.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills; experience preparing proposals and donor materials.
  • Proficiency in donor CRM systems and prospect management processes.
  • Highly organized, goal‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Salary Range: $78,281.00 – $97,852.00 per year
