- Oversee daily operations of coordinating agency wide gamblingoutreach services and activities ensuring alignment with the Illinoissponsored “are you really willing” campaign. This includes ensuringgambling outreach events are scheduled and staffed for the service areas of Cook County, Sangamon County and Will County.
- Supervise Gambling outreach staff providing daily, on-the-groundoutreach services including monitoring performance, engagementquality, and adherence to outreach and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the Associate Administrator of Outreach Services and other Administrators to identify, establish, and maintain newpartnership locations for both mobile outreach programs.
- Provide problem gambling education, screenings and referralsthroughout the community served (Cook County) including but not limited to activations arranged as part of the Illinois sponsored “areyou really winning” campaign.
- Provide “brief intervention” to individuals identified to haveconcerns regarding gambling whether the individual accepts a treatmentreferral or not.
- Provide problem gambling education, screening, brief intervention and referral to Family Guidance Centers’ patients as appropriate.
- Conduct direct outreach to individuals experiencing substance use,homelessness, or other barriers to care by providing harm reductioneducation, distributing supplies, and describing FGC programs inaccessible language to increase awareness of available services.
- Assist as appropriate with field-based support to both new and existing outreach staff by modeling effective outreach practices,offering guidance on logistics, referrals, and documentation tools,and supporting staff in navigating daily outreach routines and site operations.
- Stay informed of local resources and community events relevant toharm reduction and gambling and substance use services, and shareupdates with the outreach team to help keep staff informed and connected to evolving community needs.
- Build, maintain and strengthen collaborative relationships with community partners, service providers, and stakeholders to enhance program visibility, effectiveness, and referral pathways.

Monday - Friday
(7:00a - 3:30p); with flexibility to support program needs

Pay Rate: $60,000 annually

Experience and Skills:Education and/or
Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred. Experience in behavioralhealth, community health outreach, substance use harm reduction,withdrawal management programs, medication-assisted treatment, and/or community relations required. Lived experience with substance useand/or problem gambling and successful recovery preferred.
Certification as a Community Health Worker or Peer Support Specialist preferred.
