DescriptionThe Group Leader at our organization will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and development of community programs within our non-profit sector. This position is ideal for a dynamic and driven individual with a passion for philanthropy and community service. The Group Leader will oversee a team of aides, ensuring the effective delivery of programs that align with our mission.
You will work collaboratively with other departments to enhance our outreach and impact in the Chicago area.
- Supervise and support a team of aides, providing guidance and training as necessary.
- Develop and implement community program activities that are innovative and impactful.
- Engage with local stakeholders and community members to promote and enhance our programs.
- Monitor program outcomes and make adjustments to improve effectiveness.
- Prepare reports on program activities and contribute to strategic planning sessions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to community engagement.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates and gather feedback.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 2-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the non-profit industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Experience in program development and evaluation.
- Knowledge of community resources and networking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data management systems.
