HI Chicago is looking for volunteers to lead a weekly morning program for guests at our bustling Chicago hostel; which hosts travelers from across the globe. This "Toast & Jams" event allows guests to meet and interact with each other, at the hostel. These events also serve as an opportunity for guests to learn some information about what is happening at the hostel and around the city.

SCHEDULE
We are looking for volunteers to assist with weekly Sunday, Monday and/or Friday morning breakfast events for 2.5 to 3 hours (event duration plus setup/cleanup). Timing is flexible but volunteer must decide a consistent time for all Sundays, Mondays and/or Fridays . Example 7-9 30am every Monday, or 8-11am every Sunday.
Requirements
You must be 18+ to be a volunteer.
This role requires standing for long periods and moving/lifting up to 20 lbs.
PURPOSE/DEFINITION and HI USA MISSION
HI USA is 501(c)(3) non-profit education association. Our purpose is to "inspire a deeper understanding of people places and cultures for a more tolerant world." As a non-profit, the revenues we receive through overnight stays and memberships is reinvested in mission delivery.
