American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position in a Level 1 Trauma Center with mandatory floating and strict RTO policies.

• Work in various ICU units including Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, and Neuro ICU
• May float to med-surg units and between Cook facilities within a 50-mile radius
• Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Every other weekend coverage required, totaling 2 weekends per month
• EMR system used is Cerner
• First week includes day shift orientation and precepting
• Strict RTO policy: maximum of 5 days off, no more than 2 consecutive days, no weekend or holiday RTO allowed, and no RTO the day before or after a holiday
• Mandatory floating may include assignments outside primary competency area, utilizing a team-based model as needed
• Lab work for compliance must be completed within 72 hours of accepting an offer
• Navy blue scrubs are required and not provided by the facility

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care ICU experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Candidates must reside within a 75-mile radius to be eligible
