We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team at our skilled nursing facility. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) with strong leadership experience
, Director of Nursing and Administrators or Assistant Director of Nursing ready to take the next step in their career.
In this role you will work alongside an awesome Administrator and focus on creating more stabilized systems, staff training, help with culture shift! The ideal Director of Nursing will be passionate about long term care, a strong leader that enjoys maintaining communication with the staff and residents.

- The facility is in Chicago north, near Skokie, it is a about a 109‑bed facility
- Dedicated Restorative Nurse, Infection Control, and ADON does the Scheduling
- Supportive administrative and clinical leadership.
- No floor nursing (except in rare emergency situations)

- Oversee compliance with state and federal regulations, facility policies, and best clinical practices.
- Participate in quality assurance, care plan development, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation and reporting.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and resident‑centered care.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in Illinois.
- Previous leadership experience required —
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), Director of Nursing (DON), Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) or Nurse Educators are strongly preferred. - Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (CMS, state regulations, survey processes).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to motivate teams and maintain a positive work environment.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and clinical assessment skills.
