ICU Registered Nurse – Day & Night Shifts (Chicago, IL)
Humboldt Park Health is seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join our team for 13‑week travel assignments in Chicago, Illinois. This role is ideal for adaptable, resilient clinicians with strong critical care and telemetry backgrounds.
Shift OptionsGuaranteed
Hours:
72 hours biweekly
Compensation: $60–$64 per hour
Openings: Day and Night shifts available
Position OverviewRole: Registered Nurse (RN)
Unit: ICU (primary), with float to Telemetry or ED as needed
Primary
Location:
Humboldt Park Health
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- May float to Telemetry (1:5 ratios) or ED
- May be assigned as an aide if support is needed
Charting: Meditech experience highly preferred; mandatory training required
ICU- 12 beds
- Ratios: 1:2 or 1:3 depending on acuity
- 24 beds
- Ratio: 1:5
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience with strong telemetry skills
- At least one completed travel assignment (no first‑time travelers)
- Ability to adapt well, work hard, manage change, and engage with the team
