Nurse, LPN​/LVN Nights

Overview

We are looking for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPNs/LVNs) to work in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care facilities, ensuring quality care through monitoring staff performance, physician contact, care planning, and daily resident observation, while providing direct patient care. The role supports our commitment to deliver joy and peace of mind for residents and families.

• Assist routine daily direction and monitor the work of nursing assistants, ensuring a high standard of nursing care and satisfactory completion of tasks.
• Assist in the orientation of new LPN/LVNs and nursing assistants, reinforcing training standards.
• Provide explanations of nursing procedures and assist staff to ensure ongoing understanding and training.
• Communicate regularly with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, problem areas, resident and employee activities, concerns, needs, and conditions.
• Observe and evaluate residents’ health, mental and emotional conditions, and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff, notifying physicians and family members as required.
• Provide direct patient care, including catheter placement and care, colostomy care, suction, dressings, naso‑gastric tubes and other treatments.
• Participate in shift reports at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure proper information exchange.
• Assist in admission, orientation, and observation of new residents, ensuring physician orders for diets, therapy, and medication are transcribed and communicated according to procedure.

• Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing.
• Current license in good standing as an LPN/LVN in the state.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.

LPN Compensation Pay Range
: $32.36 – $45.01 per hour.
