- Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (36 hrs/week)
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (36 hrs/week / 24 hrs Part-Time)
The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality care to patients with complex and life‑threatening conditions. This position involves continuous monitoring, emergency response, and management of advanced life‑support systems in a fast‑paced critical care environment.
The ICU RN is responsible for ensuring patient safety, supporting families, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Clinical Excellence- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies
- dminister medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Operate and monitor advanced ICU equipment (ventilators, IABP, etc.)
- Perform wound care and manage post‑surgical recovery
- Conduct diagnostic tests and follow‑up care
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Support departmental goals and patient care standards
- Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

- Remain calm and effective under high‑pressure situations
- DN / BSN / MSN from an accredited nursing program
- ctive RN License (Illinois)
- BLS Certification (AHA / Red Cross / Military Training Network)
- CLS Certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience
- t least 1 year of ICU/PACU experience (preferred/required by client)
- Minimum 1 year stability in at least one hospital role
- ICU or Critical Care experience
- Experience with ventilators and advanced life‑support equipment
- Strong emergency response skills
