Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients with behavioral health needs. Support recovery and stabilization efforts while ensuring safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' mental health status and document findings accurately.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Implement individualized care plans in coordination with healthcare teams.
- Engage patients in therapeutic activities to promote mental wellness.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of one year experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings.
- Strong assessment skills and knowledge of mental health conditions.
- Ability to work effectively during day shifts, specifically 7am-7pm.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
