What you will do

The Clinical Nurse Manager has 24‑hour accountability and responsibility in his or her assigned clinical areas for the professional nursing practice, professional development and education of the staff, performance improvement initiatives, fiscal and human resource management of the department, adherence to all regulatory compliance standards, and creates an environment within the department that promotes customer loyalty for all customer groups (patients, families, physicians and employees).

Oversight for this role includes the daily operations of the Pain Management clinicians and office staff which reaches across multiple office and surgical/procedural sites within the Endeavor Health PSA. The Clinical Nurse Manager will also be directly responsible for the operations of the Swedish Integrated Pain Center (procedures) and the Swedish Pain Clinic.

The Clinical Nurse Manager is also responsible for co‑managing the inpatient Pain Service with a Lead APP and Division Chief.

What you will need
  • Education:
    • BSN
    • MSN preferred
  • Certification/License:
    • IL RN License
    • CPR BLS through AHA
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in an appropriate clinical setting
    • Previous management experience preferred
  • Unique or Preferred

    Skills:

    • Problem‑solving abilities
    • Effective communication
    • Must demonstrate competency in care of all patient age groups specific to specialty
    • Competencies are unit/specialty specific
