Registered Nurse (RN)Primary responsibilities include providing direct nursing services to maintain the physical, mental, and psycho‑social well‑being of each resident, determining care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, measuring clinical outcomes against resident goals, recommending necessary adjustments, managing and directing care staff, and ensuring adherence to therapeutic standards, professional nursing standards, and governing regulations.
- Current State of Illinois RN license.
- At least 1 year of experience in long‑term care, rehabilitation, assisted living, or memory care facility.
- Knowledge of nursing professional standards, state and federal regulations pertaining to nursing services.
- Proven clinical and supervisory skills.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and customer service.
- Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
Responsibilities include delivering compassionate basic nursing care, maintaining infection control practices, working as a team member, multitasking, and caring for residents with dementia. A positive attitude, good bedside manner, sound judgment, and basic nursing skills are essential.
- Completed an Illinois‑approved CNA training program and passed the written competency test.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate equipment safely.
- High level of professionalism and customer service.
- Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
- Must meet all State requirements as stipulated in the Health Care Background Check Act Registry.
Primary responsibilities mirror those of the RN role, focusing on direct nursing care in the assigned unit, ensuring quality of care through adherence to therapeutic standards, measuring clinical outcomes, recommending adjustments, and managing care staff under the guidance of residents.
