Offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and a 40‑bed Skilled Nursing Unit providing Long‑term Care and Short‑term, sub‑acute rehabilitation services.

About the Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing quality care to residents both physically and emotionally to enhance quality of life. This includes basic care and assisting residents with daily activities they may have trouble with on their own, such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, dining, etc.

Pay Range

Starting rate of $18.00 per hour (CNA)

Education and Experience

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Required
  • Certified Nursing Certificate (CNA); must be registered with the state in good standing
  • Ability to communicate with residents and staff
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn company systems
  • Ability to work holiday and weekend hours as well as be on call
Preferred
  • Previous nursing assistant experience in a similar environment

  • Use hands to feel and reach with hand and arms
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (may lift larger amounts of weight occasionally when helping transfer residents to beds or wheelchairs)
  • Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)

  • Entire building, resident rooms and common areas
  • May escort residents to outside appointments
  • Exposure to disagreeable conditions including odors, infection, illness and physical contact from disruptive residents
