What We Offer

We are a dynamic 19‑bed specialty care unit offering both Intensive Care (ICU) and Progressive Care (PCU/Step‑down). The unit totals 5 beds in ICU and 14 in PCU/Step‑down. Nurse‑to‑patient ratios are 1:1 for critical intubated patients, 1:2 in ICU, and 1:4 in PCU. The position is on the night shift (7 pm–7 am), full‑time, at Brunswick Medical Center.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing (bachelor preferred).
• Current valid North Carolina nursing license or multi‑state/compact license.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Active ALS, BLS, and PALS certifications; completed board‑approved refresher course if license inactive for five years or more.
