Full-Time | No On-Call
Pay Rates: LPN: $32.00 - $39.00/hr | RN: $40.00 - $45.00/hr (Flexible daily payment options available)

Wound Care & Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive wound assessments, implement treatment plans, track healing progress, and manage documentation in accordance with clinical and HIPAA guidelines.Infection Control:
Maintain facility infection prevention and control standards to ensure a safe, sanitary environment for residents and staff.Care Planning & Execution:
Accurately implement physician orders, contribute to resident care planning, and effectively prioritize daily clinical tasks.Education & Communication:
Counsel and educate residents and families on wound healing protocols and infection prevention practices.Team
Collaboration:
Partner closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), ADON, and facility Administrator to maintain regulatory compliance.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Licensure:
Active, unencumbered Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.Clinical
Experience:
Direct experience managing wound care and specialized treatments within a skilled nursing or long-term care facility.Core Competencies:
Proven expertise in wound assessments, care planning, treatment documentation, and knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.Soft Skills:
Strong organizational proficiency alongside clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills &
Qualifications:
Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWS, or equivalent).
Infection Preventionist (IP) training or certification.
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehabilitation.
