Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Short Summary

The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) will provide professional nursing care to patients with varying complexity, ensuring quality and appropriate care based on each client’s needs while following hospital policy and procedure.

Full‑time, 12‑hour shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., rotating shifts) with shift differentials.

• Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as necessary.
• Provide teaching to patients and their families.
• Direct the work of nursing support staff using delegation and supervision skills.
• Protect, promote, and restore health and wellness by employing the highest nursing care standards.
• Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care across the continuum.
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
• Mentor assigned team members and promote best practices.

• Graduate nurse of an accredited school of nursing – BSN or ASN.
• Valid RN license.
• Must hold BLS certification.
• Ability to work variable hours.
