- Rush Heart & Vascular’s downtown Chicago practice is based at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges.
- Join a collaborative team of six vascular surgeons and four advanced practice providers.
- This position is primarily based at Rush’s downtown Chicago campus and follows a Monday–Friday schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts, with no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities.
- Provide care for patients with complex medical conditions across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- APRN candidates must hold Acute Care Certification (required).
- Prior APP experience in Vascular Surgery strongly preferred; relevant RN experience may also be considered.
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and collaborative, team‑based care.
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process.
- Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position.
- Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP).
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process.
- Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position.
- Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP).
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process.
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program.
- Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Pay Range: $130,840 – $184,000
Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for employees. The total pay range reflects a wide range of factors, including specialty, experience, training, and business considerations. Additional compensation may include premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, and relocation allowances. A comprehensive benefits package is also provided.
