Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Department: 36102 Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center – Emergency Department
Location: Chicago, IL (Lakeview Neighborhood)
Schedule: Full time, 12‑hour shifts, 7:00p.m.–7:00a.m., 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour
ResponsibilitiesAs a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Qualifications- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications to be obtained within 3 months of hire.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in Emergency Nursing.
- Verified as a Trauma Nurse by attending a Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC).
- Level I Trauma Center
- EDAP
- Primary Stroke
- Level III Perinatal
- LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equity
- NAPBC / NAPRC
- CARF
- MBSAQIP
- Base compensation within the listed pay range based on qualifications, skills, experience, or training.
