SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

Our client is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Building Nurse for the upcoming school year. This role provides comprehensive health services within the school setting.

Schools are located in the Chicago (Gage Park/Archer Heights neighborhood)

• Provide direct nursing care and health assessments to students.
• Manage daily health office operations and student medical needs.
• Participate as a member of the IEP team (not responsible for IEP documentation).
• Monitor and support students with chronic and acute health conditions.
• Provide care for a student requiring catheterization; prior catheter experience is required.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and health care providers to ensure student well-being.

• Active RN license required.
• School nursing, pediatric, community health, or related nursing experience preferred.
• Catheterization experience required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

• Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioral-health.
