Certified Nursing Assistant (Day Shift)

Location:

3828 W. Taylor, Chicago, IL 60624

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, every other weekend and major holidays; 5‑day rolling workweek.

• Assist nursing staff in providing client care in a residential treatment environment
• Under RN supervision, take vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration rate, blood pressure, blood sugar) and document readings
• Monitor medication self‑administration, observe reactions, report changes or concerns to nursing staff
• Conduct periodic dorm and property checks to ensure client safety and well‑being
• Perform miscellaneous tasks such as storing supplies, changing biohazard bags, answering phones, photocopying, scanning, and filing documents

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification
• Minimum 6 months related nursing or medical assistant experience
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in a residential treatment setting with adults/adolescents preferred

• Normal or corrected vision to read thermometers, BP gauges, and reporting instruments
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and grab; walk, stand, and move up to two hours per shift
• Effective communication with clients and staff in person or by telephone
• Respond to telephone, pages, and intercoms; hear speech clearly
• Use keyboard and video display terminal to retrieve and audit information regularly
• Lift up to 20 lb if necessary to assist clients

• Hourly range: $16.93 – $24.47 (based on experience and credentials)
