• Supervise the activities of all clinical staff on the assigned unit.
• Provide guidance, education, and counseling to staff regarding performance and infection control practices.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and maintain up‑to‑date policies and procedures.
• Assist with staffing to meet resident and regulatory needs, including coordination of breaks for nurses and CNAs.
• Participate in departmental meetings and in‑services.
• Facilitate nurse‑to‑nurse admission and discharge reports with hospitals and other institutions.
• Respond promptly to call lights and provide compassionate care to residents, families, and visitors.
• Assist with new admissions, re‑admissions, transfers, and room changes.
• Report hazards, equipment damage, and supply issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents, interacting with them in a warm and respectful manner.

• Associates Degree in Nursing, Science, or related field.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State of Illinois license as Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification.
• At least 2 years of RN experience.

• 5 years of RN experience.
• Previous management or charge nurse experience.

This role requires regular walking, standing, and use of standard office equipment. The employee must be able to lift and move items and patients weighing at least 75 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision.

Position type:
Full‑time, rotating shifts with holidays and occasional work during inclement weather. Travel to and from company headquarters and other locations may be required.
