We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Transport Nurse (RN) to provide advanced care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients during interfacility transports. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced EMS clinicians and leading healthcare organizations while delivering life‑saving care beyond the hospital setting.

State‑of‑the‑art ambulances equipped with:
Stryker Power‑LOAD systems, Zoll X‑Series cardiac monitors, Hamilton ventilators, Baxter IV pumps.

• Advanced technology including integrated dispatch, ePCR, routing, mapping, communications, and vehicle telematics
• Partnerships with leading healthcare systems including:
• University of Chicago Medicine
• Hundreds of additional healthcare facilities throughout Chicagoland

• Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill and injured patients during transport
• Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Collaborate with physicians, hospitals, and EMS professionals to coordinate patient transfers
• Anticipate and respond to patient deterioration using evidence‑based protocols
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Support quality improvement initiatives and continuing education efforts
• Deliver exceptional patient and customer service throughout the transport process

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department and/or ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS/PEPP certifications
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to perform effectively in fast‑paced, high‑acuity environments

• Critical care transport experience
• ECRN certification
• TNCC, TNS, ITLS, or PHTLS certifications
