Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab

Location:

Chicago, IL (Lakeview Neighborhood)

Hours:

40 hours per week, 4–10 hour shifts (Day shift). Call required; must arrive within 30 minutes.

Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour

Where You Will Work

The unit has three Cath Labs where physicians perform minimally invasive tests and procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease. As a nurse in this department you will assist the cardiovascular team throughout the procedure from prep through recovery.

Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in Critical Care or Cath Lab
  • Ability to take call and arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes
Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
