Pay: $2,709 per week
Shift Information: Nights – 4 days × 12 hours

About the PositionTravel Nurse Source is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified Long‑Term Care RN in Chicago, Illinois, 60290.
Job OverviewPosition / Specialty:
Pediatric Step‑down RN (PICU experience preferred). 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts – both accepted.
Unit: 39 beds with diverse specialties. 50‑60% of patients are technology dependent (vent, trach, G tube). Age range 2 weeks to 18 years. Acute care unit with chronic illness patients.
Qualifications & Requirements- Valid IL RN license in hand at time of submission.
- Minimum 2 years of experience, 1:3–1:4 patient ratio experience.
- Background in Meditech charting system.
- Certified in BCLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
- Experience with ventilated patients, tracheostomy care, gastric tube management.
- Flu vaccine required; medical or religious exemptions accepted.
- Comfortable with on‑call duty and weekend coverage every other weekend.
- Ready to float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Preferred:
Pediatric if available; open to block scheduling. - Travel nurse experience preferred.
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 3–12 hour shifts; 48 hours for 4–12 hour shifts; 40 hours for shifts
