Position: RN - AP4 Med-Surg/Behavioral Health - Nights

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

    Nights (7p-7a); every other weekend and rotating holidays required
  • Required Travel:
    May float to other inpatient units as needed
What you will do
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to patients and their families.
  • Maintain competency reflective of current standards of practice.
  • Interact and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
  • Integrate ethical provisions in all areas of nursing practice.
  • Integrate evidence-based practice and research findings into nursing practice.
  • Recognize and adjust to situations that vary from the norm.
  • Promote safety measures to prevent patient and staff injuries.
  • Guide and supervise staff in the provision of patient care.
  • Enhance own professional growth and development.
  • Maintain a safe therapeutic working environment and recognize need for action in emergency situations.
  • Documentation is thoroughly and timely completed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
What you will need
  • Prefer at least one year of experience as a staff nurse.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Demonstrate mastery of nursing skills.
  • Communicate effectively and be able to guide and supervise nursing personnel.
  • Current Illinois Nursing licensure
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on the unit requirements
